A Distinctive Method of Online Interactive Learning in STEM Education

A breakthrough that has occurred in recent years is the emergence of COVID-19 pandemic. It affected various sectors society, including educational sector. prevented students from performing group-oriented hands-on activities and eventually transformed their active learning environment schools into virtual passive lectures at home. Therefore, to solve this impedance, we exercised several online STEM programs (five with repetitive cycles) for school students, 140 (middle high school), 16 undergraduate (UG) secondary mentors, 8 primary professionals. Thus, study revealed results a distinctive interactive teaching model been designed overcome classroom’s impediments. The employed demonstrates an ensures students’ engagement, retention, participation, driving them innovations. Various digital tools, PowerPoint presentations, videos, simulations, quizzes, innovative games were used as aids. Both synchronous asynchronous means student-centered approach, along feedback mechanism, implemented. Finally, method’s effectiveness was by maximum student retention innovation rates, model’s potentiality towards its replicability sustainability. outlook such initiatives could further be broadened sustainability aspect vulnerable communities academically introverted specially challenged students.
